Composition/ Orchestration:

My primary passion in music has always been narrative. This is most effectively channeled through the meticulous craft of composition. A focus will be placed on story-telling, timbre and development.

Improvisation:

Continuing the pedagogy of the many great improvisors whom I have studied with, including Aaron Parks and Gilad Hekselman. Focus on development of the ear and the connection between the subconscious creative process and your instrument. Any and all instruments welcome.

Production:

​

Orchestration in a modern context, production in my mind is the craft of songwriting, arrangement and engineering. Priorities will consist of mastery of harmony, use of textures and the relationship between melody and lyrics.
